 My Mission

To passionately support, & empower other women to use their innate & intuitive BIRTHING POWER to feel more confident, calm,  and excited to bring their babes in to this world. I believe every woman can reclaim the power of her mind and body to help her experience one of the most sacred journey’s of her life.

Why I Chose HypnoBirthing.

After giving birth to my son in 2011, I realized that everything I was taught about birth was essentially wrong.  Like most women, I had a myriad of scary stories passed down to me from well meaning women about birth, alongside all the media landscape that drives unnecessary drama and fears of giving birth.  I felt deeply that something was missing for me and other women, and I was set out to find it.

Even though I was completely unaware of HypnoBirthing at the time of his birth, and had taken a prenatal class that was informative enough but had not built a ton of confidence for me, in the end, it was my own birthing instincts in the form of yogic breath, deep relaxation, and trust in myself, my body, my baby that won out.  I quickly understood that giving birth was not about me controlling anything, but in fact, in my ability to release the control and ‘let go’  in order to ride the birthing waves to get to my babe.

I was then on a mission to find other birthing modalities that supported this real mind/body connection that I had experienced in my birth.  I knew that if women could be taught to work with their bodies, and not against them, then that was the key.  So during my maternity leave with my son, I found HypnoBirthing which I loved not only for the philosophy of bringing babies into this world without the fear, but for the evidence based efficacy behind its  practical and supportive methods of birth.  I became a Gold Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator (The Mongan Method) that same year and started teaching in 2012 and haven’t stopped.

It was a few years later when I became pregnant with my daughter, I knew it was my time to really put HypnoBirthing to the test!  I was able to use everything that I learned and I experienced my daughter’s birth as one of the most empowering and incredible moments of my life.  I was able to bring her into this world within my own sacred space, calmly floating in water, and confidently trusting in my bodie’s natural rhythms and biological pharmacy (endorphins).  I felt the most love from all who supported me including my incredible husband and my midwives by my side.  They trusted me, and I trusted myself.  HypnoBirthing made all the difference in the world.

I believed now more than ever that women needed to learn how to change their birthing destiny’s to stop the curses of multi-generational fears and societies conditioning that women’s body are designed to fail them in birth.  Instead, HypnoBirthing teaches women and their partners that they are their own hero’s (heroine’s) that they are seeking on this path, and all the power they need is within them.
